About Us

Objectives


  • The Centre will design to inculcate an incisive understanding of the Indian context and hone globally relevant skills to achieve international standards of competencies through its immersive interdisciplinary research focus on public policy and governance.
  • Develop Policy Dialogues to catalyze debates that will encourage meaningful Policy Action through impactful policy studies.
  • Organize national and international seminars, workshops and conferences on issues related to Public Policy and Governance, besides documentation of resource material on the subject.
  • Publish research papers, books and monographs in the broad area of Public Policy and Governance.
  • Organize outreach programmes based on the Sustainable Development Goals which are globally considered as the Minimum Agenda of Good Governance.
  • Network with governmental agencies, international organizations, academia, and think tanks through exchange programmes and sharing of knowledge in thrust areas of public policy and governance.
  • Make its Research reports and findings available to government bodies, civil society groups, social scientists and all concerned citizens with a goal to encourage informed choices and evidence based policy making.

Our Approach


Integrating Research with Action starts with field surveys and grassroots impact research. Action Recommendations will be in the nature of:

  • Suggestions for Improving Access to Public Services
  • Capacity Building of Institutions for Efficiency and Effectiveness
