Cultural Policy Chaupal Project

The Cultural Policy Chaupal Project, a joint venture between the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA), TOHRI Foundation, and Centre for Public Policy and Governance, was a significant endeavor aimed at revitalizing India’s cultural heritage and integrating it into contemporary society. The project sought to foster a deeper appreciation of India’s diverse cultural traditions, promote a decolonized mindset, and ultimately contribute to the creation of a more motivated, peaceful, and developed nation. By anchoring the project in the ethos of Indian cultural consciousness, the initiative aimed to inspire future generations and pave the way for a more inclusive and prosperous India by 2047. The project took place on February 27th and 28th, 2024.
