On September 11, 2025, the Chaudhry Ranbir Singh Institute of Social & Economic Change (CRSIS&EC) at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, invited Prof. Rumki Basu to serve as a Resource Person for a prestigious 10-Day Research Methodology Course. Sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), the course aimed to sharpen the analytical skills of burgeoning researchers. Prof. Rumki Basu delivered specialized lectures on two fundamental pillars of academic inquiry: the Identification of the Research Problem and Research Design, providing scholars with a rigorous framework for conducting high-quality social science research.

The sessions proved to be an enriching experience for Prof. Rumki Basu, characterized by vibrant engagement with a cohort of enthusiastic and intellectually curious scholars. The discussions focused on the nuances of crafting robust research architectures and the critical thinking required to pinpoint significant gaps in existing literature. Through these lectures, Prof. Rumki Basu emphasized the importance of a well-defined methodology as the cornerstone of any impactful academic contribution.

Prof. Rumki Basu extends sincere gratitude to Prof. Sandeep Malik, Director of CRSIS&EC, and Prof. Rajesh Kundu of the Department of Public Administration for the invitation. The professional excellence and hospitality of the entire CRSIS&EC-MDU team in Rohtak were instrumental in the successful delivery of these sessions, fostering a collaborative environment conducive to advanced academic learning.
