The Indian Political Science Association (IPSA) successfully convened its 62nd All India Political Science Conference & International Seminar on 27–28 December 2025, hosted at the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Centered on the foundational theme “We the People of Bharat,” the event served as a prestigious platform for rigorous academic discourse on the socio-political identity and future trajectory of the nation. A significant highlight of the seminar included a specialized panel on the Aspects of Global Terrorism, featuring a keynote address by Prof. Basu, who provided a comprehensive analysis of contemporary security threats and the evolving nature of transnational political violence. The conference concluded with a renewed commitment to fostering interdisciplinary research and strengthening the intellectual framework surrounding Indian and global political dynamics.
